Quick overview: TomaShiftWC is a tool that connects you to your employer's TomaShift workforce management system. Most of the data you interact with through the App — your account, shifts, schedule, and work history — is collected, stored, and controlled by your employer, not by Tomahawk Internet Technologies. We provide the software; your employer provides the service it connects to.
The App also includes a Wampum (WMP) digital token system used for internal employee incentives and shift bidding. Tokens have no value outside the issuing company's network. Your token wallet stays on your device and is never transmitted to Tomahawk Internet Technologies or your employer.
Tomahawk Internet Technologies ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in connection with the TomaShiftWC mobile application ("the App").
Your employer's TomaShift system collects and stores information about you, including:
Most of this information is entered by your employer before you download the App. As a user, you may be able to update some of this information through the App.
This data is stored on servers operated by your employer or their designated service provider. Your employer is the data controller for this information. For questions about how this data is used, shared, or retained, contact your employer or their system administrator.
The App connects to your employer's TomaShift system through an embedded web browser. Any information you enter into that browser goes to your employer's server, not to Tomahawk Internet Technologies.
The following information is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to Tomahawk Internet Technologies, your employer, or any other party:
Wallet credentials are stored in encrypted local storage protected by the Android Keystore. They cannot be recovered by Tomahawk Internet Technologies if lost — you are solely responsible for backing up your recovery phrase.
Tomahawk Internet Technologies does not collect:
We do not embed third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs in the App.
By default, the App connects to a Wampum token network server operated by Tomahawk Internet Technologies. This server processes wallet queries and token transfers within the company network.
We do not log connections, wallet addresses, or queries on this server. We chose not to retain this information by design.
You may configure the App to use a different token network server (including one your employer operates) at any time through the Settings screen.
We do not sell, rent, or trade information about App users. We do not share data with advertising networks or third-party marketers.
Tomahawk Internet Technologies may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights. Because we collect very little information about App users in the first place, there is little to disclose.
The App implements the following security measures:
Optionally, a user may permit unencrypted connections to a trusted server (such as a self-hosted token network server on a home or company network). This requires explicit confirmation in Settings and is disabled by default.
The App is intended for use by employed adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13.
For workforce data on your employer's TomaShift system, contact your employer's system administrator to request access, correction, or deletion. Your employer is the data controller for that information.
For wallet data on your device, you can permanently delete it at any time by uninstalling the App. We do not store any wallet information on Tomahawk Internet Technologies' servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
